The body of works largely consists of single and multiple painted nude female figures dominating a large canvas, with nearly all of the figures slightly larger than life size, and a similar, stereotypically feminine color palette throughout all of the paintings. The brushstrokes resemble collage, as each brushstroke of acrylic or oil paint is definitively placed on the canvas without much blending between the neighboring colors. All of the pieces exclude the presence of a head, upholding the anonymity of each woman represented. The body is the central focus of each piece as a woman’s body can be critiqued, judged, and violated, but should be appreciated and celebrated.
